“Meet the Author” events

With the release date of my latest book, “Enough to Go Around: Tracing the Widespread Pain Surrounding the Deadliest Construction Accident in U.S. History,” scheduled for mid/late October of this year, I want to share a few upcoming “Meet the Author” events around West Virginia.

The first will be held on Tuesday evening, October 21, beginning at 6:00pm, at the New Martinsville Public Library (160 Washington Street).

On Thursday afternoon, October 23, I’ve been invited to appear on “Middle Ohio Valley Now”, hosted by Eric Little. The 30-minute show airs on several radio stations in the area, including WRRR-FM, WVVV-FM, WVAM-FM, and WXCR-FM. Later that day, I’m scheduled to give a presentation on the book at the Pleasants County Library (101 Lafayette Street, St. Marys), also beginning at 6:00pm. A limited number of books will be available for purchase at each library the night of the presentations, and I will be more than happy to sign copies.

Finally, I’ll be traveling to Morgantown on Friday, October 25, to talk about my new book as part of that day’s MetroNews Talkline, with Dave Wilson and T.J. Meadows (wvmetronews.com). I consider this a special honor since the radio program is aired on nearly three dozen stations across West Virginia. The radio interview with Eric Little will air at a later date.

As a reminder, “Enough to Go Around” is the third work in my series of books centered on historical events in the Ohio Valley. The other books in the series, titled “Remembering Not to Forget,” includes “17 Days That Changed America: How the Silver Bridge Collapse Made Life Safer for All of Us,” and “Everyone Has a Story: The Vietnam Conflict, One Ohio County, and 11 Untold Stories.” If you’re an avid reader, you will definitely want to purchase these books as part of your “Remembering Not to Forget” collection.
